This is Homer's response via an anon e-mail from someone I know personally.

"The comments and responses are coming along with the final plan. They are currently under review by NNSA HQ."

The comments are to show up at this URL. I guess I'll believe it when I see it.

LLNL 3161 Censored Comments

Where are the comments or was asking for them just another feel good exercise from DOE / NNSA? Maybe the comments being hid so no one knows what was said because it would be embarrassing for the public to see how many people told them how stupid they were. I know of one very long comment that does just that. Want to make a bet it will never be published? That's okay, I have a copy of the original tucked away for occasions just like this.

The word on the comments about LLNL 3161 is this.

"The plan is to post them but they are still pending approval by NNSA HQ. The priority was shifted to the VSSOP plan."
