I would need to see a more detailed report on the "problem" to get a feeling of whether or not this is a serious issue.

I have found that some inspections will jump on some petty detail and blow it out of proportion because:

A. They have to find something and if that's all they find, the need to trumpet their discovery.

B. If the inspector does not have a good technical background and thinks something of minor importance is a major failure, it becomes a major failure.
