...The
bomber incident was considered highly unusual. Russian strategic
bombers are not known to have conducted such operations in the past into
the south Pacific from bomber bases in the Russian Far East, which is
thousands of miles away and over water.
John Bolton, former U.N.
ambassador and former State Department international security
undersecretary, said the Russian bomber flights appear to be part of an
increasingly threatening strategic posture in response to Obama
administration anti-nuclear policies.
“Every day brings new
evidence that Obama’s ideological obsession with dismantling our nuclear
deterrent is dangerous,” Bolton said. “Our national security is in
danger of slipping off the national agenda even as the threats grow.”
Defense
officials said the bombers tracked over Guam were likely equipped with
six Kh-55 or Kh-55SM cruise missiles that can hit targets up to 1,800
miles away with either a high-explosive warhead or a 200-kiloton nuclear
warhead.

As we dismantle, dismiss and discard
buildings, equipment and highly trained people from what's left of our
rotting, bare-boned 50 year old US nuclear weapons infrastructure, well,

Someone must remind the Russians that Obama is still in the driver's seat. Give him a chance, he'll disarm the US unilaterally.
This must be part of the "greater leeway" that Obama whispered he would have after his re-election to the Russian President.
The Russians can now fly next to our territories with nuclear tipped cruise missiles. How very special.
Rome: The barbarians are at the gate, but the gate requires upkeep. If we just dismantle it, we can save taxpayer money And give our politicans 10% raises. This strategy did not end well.
Speaking of not ending well, did anyone read about the China troop movements massing on the eastern side of China? Meanwhile, the politicans are busy disarming the citizens of California and the US. The Chinese are cheering this on, saying that Americans should be disarmed.

Over $1 million dollars so Obama could play golf in total privacy with sex deviant Tiger Woods down in Florida in luxury. Meanwhile, Mooo-chelle and the kids head to Aspen at what, another $1 million in costs?
Meanwhile, the economy is in horrible shape (regardless of what all the happy talking heads say on places like CNBC and CNN) and millions of hard working people who make a decent wage in the defense industry are about to be thrown on the street.
