Diversify the weapons labs to keep the workforce

The NM delegation sends a letter to the White House supporting their choice for the next NNSA Administrator. Will be interesting to see if the next Admininsrator is a product of the weapons program or if they have a broader experience.

"In the face of growing fiscal constraints we believe it will be essential that the labs continue to diversify their efforts, especially in the area of advanced energy and environmental technologies."

The NM Democratic Congressional delegation is clueless when it comes to keeping the NM labs healthy and full of good paying jobs. In fact, the state of NM is the only state in the union that was in recession (negative GDP) during all of 2012! The decreases in federal spending and loss of good paying jobs at the two labs and at Kirtland AFB has been a big drag on the state's economy. You are seeing the results of the loss of a strong political supporter like "St. Pete".
